Indications & Dosage
Diabetes mellitus: BY SC INJ: Adults & Children: The dosage of insulin should be adjusted to maintain pre-meal and bedtime blood glucose of 80-140 mg/dL (Children < 5 yr: 100-200 mg/dL). The effect of ACTRAPID begins after 1/2 hr of SC Inj, max between 1st and 3rd hr, and terminates after 8 hrs approximately.
