Composition
Tab 50 mg/150 mg: Itopride 50 mg/150 mg. Cap 150 mg: Itopride 150 mg.
Indications & Dosage
Dyspepsia, Non-ulcer dyspepsia, bloating, early satiety, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, heartburn, nausea and vomiting, anorexia: Adults: 50 mg three times daily. Children: Not recommended.
Contraindications
Parkinsons disease, GI haemorrhage, mechanical obstruction or perforation or in conditions where increase in GI motility will be harmful.
Precautions
Itopride enhances the action of acetylcholine and may produce cholinergic effects.
Interactions
Anticholinergic, increased saliva, nausea, dizziness, headache, tremor.
Pregnancy

Lactation
Not recommended.
Side Effects
Thrombocytopenia, leucopenia, diarrhoea, constipation, increased saliva, redness, dizziness, headache, tremor.
