Composition
Tab180/10 mg: Bempedoic Acid 180 mg and Ezetimibe 10 mg
Indications & Dosage
Primary hypercholesterolaemia, hyperlipidemia, including heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH) or mixed dyslipidaemia (in combination with a statin, or alone if a statin is contra-indicated or not tolerated): Adult: 180/10 mg daily To reduce the risk of myocardial infarction and coronary revascularization (when statin therapy is inappropriate) with established cardiovascular disease (CVD), or a high risk for a CVD event: Adult: 180/10 mg once daily.
Contraindications
Serious hypersensitivity reactions, such as angioedema, rash and urticaria.
Precautions
Severe renal impairment, severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh C). Analyze lipid levels within 8 to 12 weeks.
Interactions
Simvastatin, Pravastatin, Cyclosporine, Fibrates
Pregnancy
Avoid, unless the benefits outweigh the potential risks

Abdominal pain or discomfort, angioedema, hyperuricemia, tendinitis or tendon rupture, anaemia, gout, pain in extremity, diarrhoea, muscle spasms, nausea, wheezing, Elevated liver enzyme.
