Composition
Eye Drop: Brinzolamide 1%.
Indications & Dosage
Monotherapy or adjunct to beta-blockers, in open angle glaucoma & ocular hypertension: Adults: 1 drop in the affected eye two or three times daily.
Contraindications
Hepatic or severe renal impairment, hyperchloraemic acidosis, history of hypersensitivity to sul-phonamide.
Precautions
Cerebral or coronary insufficiency, Pseudo-exfoliative glaucoma, pigmentary glaucoma, narrow-angle glaucoma, diabetes, contact lense wearers, corneal disorder, dry eye condition; monitor closely.
Interactions
Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, CYP3A4 inhibitors.

Not recommended.
Side Effects
Headache, burning sensation, stinging, depression, conjunctival hyperaemia, conjunctival folliculosis, transient disturbed vision, ocular discomfort, hyperaemia, taste perversion.
