Composition
Eye Drop/Oint: Sulphacetamide sodium 10%, prednisolone acetate 0.2%, phenylephrine HCI 0.12%.
Indications & Dosage
Infected inflammatory conditions: Adults & Children: 1 or 2 drops four to six hourly or apply a thin film of ointment 2-4 times a day depending upon the severity of infections.
Contraindications
Viral, fungal, tuberculous or purulent infections of the eye, dendritic ulcer, glaucoma, soft contact lenses.
Precautions
Prolonged use, pregnancy, infants
Side Effects
Rise in intra-ocular pressure, corneal thinning cataract, fungal infection.
