Composition
Inj: Per ml: Cisatracurium besylate 2 mg
Indications & Dosage
Neuromuscular blockade (short to intermediate duration) for surgery and wide range of procedures, to facilitate controlled ventilation and endotracheal intubation: BY IV INJ OR IV INF: Adult: 0.15-0.2 mg/kg IV Bolus injection or 1-3 mcg/kg/min contiuous infusion. Neuromuscular blockade during intensive care: BY IV INJ OR IV INF: Adult: 0.03 mg/kg every 40-60 min adjust according to response.
Administration
To be administered under expert supervion, undiluted as a bolus injection, administration via infusion requires the use of an infusion pump. This product should be used immediately after reconstitution. If diluted, store the infusion solution between 2°C and 8°C and use within 24 hours. Any unused infusion solution should be discarded 24 hours after it was prepared.
Compatibility
Stable in D5W, NS, D5NS; incompatible with LR.
Stability
Store in a refrigerator (2°C- 8°C). Do not freeze. Store in the original package in order to protect from light.
Precautions
: Muscle weakness, neuromuscular disease, such as a muscle wasting disease, paralysis, motor neurone disease or cerebral palsy. Burns (increased doses may be required), cardiovascular disease (reduce rate of administration), electrolyte and fluid disturbances, hypothermia, myasthenia gravis. To avoid excessive dosage in obese patients, dose should be calculated on the basis of ideal body-weight.
Interactions
Anticholinesterases, thiazide diuretics.

Avoid for at least 3 hour after medication
Side Effects
Anaphylactoid reactions, allergic reactions, decrease in heart rate, decrease in blood pressure, rash or redness of your skin, wheezing or coughing, weak or aching muscles.
