Composition

Indications & Dosage
Regular treatment of asthma where long acting Beta 2-agonists and inhaled corticosteroid is appropriate: Adults: 1-2 puffs twice daily; max 4 puffs daily. Children: Not recommended.
Precautions
Severe cardiovascular disorders, active or quiescent pulmonary tuberculosis, transferring from systemic steroids, pregnancy.
Interactions
Beta-blockers (including eye drops), drugs prolonging the QTC interval, MAOIs, theophylline, steroids, diuretics, levodopa, levothyroxine, oxytocin, alcohol, anaesthetics.
Side Effects
Headache, anxiety, depression, dryness, epistaxis, hyperactivity, hypersensitivity reactions, nasal irritation nasal ulceration, sleep disturbances, smell disturbances,taste disturbances, throat irritation. Rare: Paradoxical bronchospasm.
