Composition
Tab 5/80 mg: Amlodipine 5 mg, valsartan 80 mg. Tab 5/160 mg: Amlodipine 5 mg, valsartan 160 mg. Tab 5/320 mg: Amlodipine 5 mg, valsartan 320 mg. Tab 10/160 mg: Amlodipine 10 mg, valsartan 160
Indications & Dosage
Hypertension not adequately controlled by valsartan alone: Adults: 1 tab daily using the strength as clinically appropriate. Children: Not recommended.
Contraindications
Biliary cirrhosis or cholestasis.
Precautions
Patients with activated renin-angiotensin system who are receiving angiotensin receptor blockers, hepatic impairment or biliary obstructive disorders, aortic or mitral stenosis or obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, hyperkalaemia.
Interactions
K supplements, K-sparing diuretics, K-containing salt substitutes or other drugs that may increase K levels (heparin, etc.).
Pregnancy
Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Lactation

Renal impairment, cough, fatigue, GI disturbance, headache, syncope, hypersensitivity reactions, myalgia, neutropenia, pruritus, rash, serum sickness, thrombocytopenia, vasculitis
