Composition
: Cap 100 mg/300 mg: Cefdinir 100 mg/300 mg. Susp125 mg/250 mg: Per 5 ml: Cefdinir 125 mg/250 mg.
Indications & Dosage
Infections caused by susceptible organisms, Up-per & lower Respiratory tract, skin & soft tissue infections, Urinary tract infection: Adults & children above 12 yrs:300 mg twice daily or 600 mg once daily for 10 days. Children below 12 yrs:7 mg/kg/dose twice daily for 5-10 days or 14 mg/kg/dose once daily for 10 days (max: 400 mg/day).
Contraindications
History of anaphylactic shock, hypersensitivity to cephalosporins, rash, urticaria.
