Composition

Each film-coated tablet Contains: Sofosbuvir 400mg and Velpatasvir 100mg

Indications & Dosage

Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 infection without cirrhousis or with compensated cirrhosis, in combination with ribavirin with decompensated cirrhosis: Adult: 400/100 mg once daily for 12 weeks; may extend to 24 weeks if required (consult product literature).

Precautions

Hepatitis B co-infection, renal impairment, decompensated cirrhosis, patients awaiting liver transplantation. Serious symptomic bradycardia may occur in patients taking amiodarone, particularly in patients also receiving beta blockers, or those with underlying cardiac comorbidities and/or advance liver disease.

Interactions

Telaprevir, boceprevir, other direct-acting HCV antivirals. Modafinil, potent P-gp inducers
