Composition
Tab: Aspirin 300 mg, paracetamol 200 mg.
Indications & Dosage
Mild to moderate pain, Pyrexia, Fever: Adults: 2 tab 3-4 times daily. Children: Not recommended
Contraindications
Severe renal or hepatic impairment, previous or active peptic ulceration, haemophilia and other bleeding disorders, children under 16 years unless specifically indicated (e.g. for Kawasakis disease).
Precautions
History of bronchospasm, asthma, uncontrolled hypertension, mild to moderate renal function, renal or hepatic impairment, dehydration, G6PD deficiency, elderly, Aspirin/anti-inflammatory induced allergies, not recommended for treatment of gout, avoid prolonged use.
Interactions
Oral anticoagulants, heparin, anti-platelet agents, fibrinolytics, NSAIDs, uricosuric agents, methotrexate, SSR1s, venlafaxine, corticosteroids, acetazolamide, drugs which delay gastric emptying (e.g. anticholinergics, narcotics).
Pregnancy
Caution; risk cannot be ruled out.
Lactation

Side Effects
: Bronchospasm, cyanosis, skin eruptions, GI upset, allergic reactions, GI and other haemorrhage, tinnitus, vertigo, confusion, increased bleeding, hypoglycaemia, CNS stimulations, hypotension, flushing and tachycardia.
