Composition
Cream: Silver sulphadiazine 1%.
Indications & Dosage
Prophylaxis and treatment of infection in burn wounds: Adult& Children: Apply daily, may be applied more frequently if very exudative. Change dressing three times a week for ulcers and daily for burns (consult product literature). For conservative management of finger-tip injuries: Adult & Children: Apply every 2-3 days (consult product literature for details). Adjunct to prophylaxis of infection in skin graft donor sites and extensive abrasions: Adult: Apply in layer 3-5 mm thick. Change dressing three times a week. Adjunct to short-term treatment of infection in pressure sores: Adult: Apply once daily or on alternate days. As an adjunct to short-term treatment of infection in leg ulcers: Adult: Apply once daily or on alternate days, not recommended if ulcer is very exudative.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, infants, pregnancy and lactation

Impaired renal or hepatic function
