Composition
Tab: Ferrous fumarate 200 mg, folic acid 0.5 mg, Vit. C 300 mg, B12 50 mcg, B1 10 mg B2 5 mg, 86 5 mg. nicotinamide 50 mg, calcium pantothenate 10 mg.
Indications & Dosage
Prophylaxis & treatment of Iron deficiency anaemia: Adults & Children: Above 12 yr, 1 tab daily.
Contraindications
Peptic ulcer, regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, Vit B 12 deficiency, paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria. haernosiderosis, haemochromatosis, repeated blood transfusion.
Precautions
1st trimester, history of peptic ulcer, folate dependent turnouts.
Interactions
Tetracyclines, antacids, co-trimoxazole, anticonvulsants, penicillamine, chloramphenicol, sulphasalazine, cholestyramine.
Side Effects
GI upset, allergic reactions.
