Indications & Dosage
Primary immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, Hepatitis B and Hib in infants: BY DEEP IM INJ: Children: Primary vaccination schedule (at 2, 3, 4 months or 2, 4, 6 months or 3, 5, 11 or 12 months or 6, 10, 14 weeks) three 0.5 ml dose sat interval of at least 1 month between doses.
Contraindications
Acute severe febrile illness, encephalopathy of unknown aetiology, occuring within 7 day of previous vaccination with pertussis containing vaccine.
Precautions
Contains traces of neomycin and Polymyxin, immuno-deficient patients. Do not administer IV
Interactions
Immunosuppressants.
Side Effects
Fever, local skin reaction, drowsiness, irritability, nervousness, rarely anaphylactoid reaction.
