Composition
Eye Drop: Per ml: Latanoprost 50 mcg.
Indications & Dosage
Ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma: Adults: 1 drop in affected eye(s) once daily, prefer-ably in the evening.
Contraindications
Active herpes simplex keratitis, history of recurrent herpetic keratitis associated withprostaglandin analogues
Precautions
Angle-closure glaucoma, aphakia, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, compromised respiratory function, congenital glaucoma, contact lens wearers; do not usewithin 5 minutes of thiomersal-containing preparations, history of significant ocular viral infections, inflammatoryocular conditions, narrow-angle glaucoma, neovascular glaucoma, peri-operative period of cataract surgery, pseudophakia with torn posterior lens capsule or anterior chamber lenses, risk factors for cystoid macular, oedema, risk factors for iritis, risk factors for uveitis
Interactions
Additive effects with other glaucoma treatments. Leave interval of at least 5 min with other topical eye preparations.

Side Effects
Blepharitis, blood pressure changes, brown pigmentation particularly in those with mixed-colourirides, conjunctival disorders, corneal erosion, darkening, thickening and lengthening of eye lashes, eyelash and vellus hair changes, headache, ocular discomfort, photophobia, pigmentation of periocular skin, punctate keratitis, reduced visual acuity, transientpunctate epithelial erosion. Rare: Arthralgia, asthenopia, dizziness, skin rash
