Composition
Susp: Per 5 ml: Kaolin 486.6 mg, pectin 43.3 mg, Aluminium hydroxide 63.3 mg.
Indications & Dosage
Diarrhoea, inflammation, food poisoning: Adults: 4-8 tablespoonsful Children below 2 yr: 1 tsp; 2-6 yr: 1-2 tablespoonsful; 6.12 yr: 2-4 tablespoonsful Dosage to be taken after each loose bowel movement
Contraindications
Intestinal obstructions.
Precautions
Pregnancy, lactation, infants, heart disease, bowel disease or allergies.
Side Effects
Kaolinosis, constipation, shortness of breath, bronchial cellulitis, dizziness, itching, redness, restlessness, mental depression.
