Composition
Tab: Loxoprofen sodium 68.1 mg equiv to Loxoprofen anhydrous 60 mg
Indications & Dosage
Chronic articular rheumatism, osteoarthrosis, lumbago, peri-arthritis of the shoulder and shoulder-arm-neck syndrome, Post-operative trauma and tooth extraction: Adults: 60 mg three times daily. Children: Not rec-ommended.
Contraindications
Active peptic ulcer or history of recurrent peptic ulcer. Aspirin/anti-inflammatory induced allergy
Precautions
Impaired renal, cardiac, hepatic and hematological functions, bronchial asthma.
Interactions
Anticoagulants, sulphonylureas.

Side Effects
Abdominal pain, anorexia, asthenia, diarrhoea, dizziness, dry skin, headache, increased blood pressure, leucopenia, nausea, oral mucosal disorders, paraesthesia, pruritus, rash, tenosynovitis, vomiting, GI bleeding and ulceration, GI disturbances, hypersensitivity reaction, urticaria, eosinophilia.
