Cap 250 mg/500 mg/1 gm: Cefadroxil 250 mg/500 mg/1 gm. Drop: per ml: Cefadroxil 100 mg. Susp 125 mg/250 mg/500 mg: Per 5 ml: Cefadroxil 125 mg/250 mg/500 mg. Tab 500 mg/1 gm: Cefadroxil 500 m
Indications & Dosage
Susceptible infections due to sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria: Adult: 0.5-1 g twice daily; Children 6-17 years (body-weight up to 40 kg): 0.5 g twice daily. Children 6-17 years (body-weight 40 kg and above): 0.5-1 g twice daily. Skin infections, Soft-tissue infections, Uncomplicated urinary-tract infections: Adult: 1 g daily; Children 6-17 years (body-weight 40 kg and above): 1 g once daily. Dose to be taken for 10 days.
