Composition
Soln: Per 1000 ml: Sodium chloride 5.65 gm, sodium lactate 4.88 gm, calcium chloride 0.294 gm, magnesium chloride 0.153 gm; dextrose anhydrous 15 gm. (Refer labels of manufacturers).
Indications & Dosage
To remove the excess of water and accumulated waste products in renal failure without the use of artificial kidney, for hastening the elimination of poisons and to correct electrolyte imbalance: To be infused into the peritoneal cavity through a catheter, allowed to remain in the body for about an hr and then drained from the cavity through the catheter.
