Composition
Inf: Paracetamol 1000 mg, Ibuprofen 300 mg. Tab: Paracetamol 500 mg/250 mg, Ibuprofen 200 mg/150 mg/125 mg.
Indications & Dosage
Fever, Mild to moderate pain including dysmenorrhea, Postoperative analgesia, Migraine, Dental pain, Pain and inflammation in rheumatic disease and other musculoskeletal disorders: ORAL: Adult & Children above 12 years: 1-2 tabs every 4-6 hrs, max 8 tabs in 24 hrs. BY IV INFUSION: Adult (body-weight up to 50 kg): 15 mg/kg every 4-6 hrs, dose to be administered over 15 mins; maximum 60 mg/kg per day. (body-weight 50 kg and above): 1 gm every 4-6 hrs, dose to be administered over 15 mins; maximum 4 g per day.
Contraindications
Active or recurrent GI bleeding or ulceration or GI haemorrhage, cerebrovascular disease, history of GI bleeding or GI perforation related to previous NSAID therapy, ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, peripheral arterial disease, moderate to severe renal impairment.
Precautions
Renal, hepatic or cardiac impairment. GI disease, allergic disorders, avoid in acute porphyrias, coagulation defects, connective-tissue disorders, Crohn's disease (may be exacerbated), elderly, oedema, risk factors for cardiovascular events, ulcerative colitis (may be exacerbated), uncontrolled hypertension.
Interactions
Anticoagulants, thiazide diuretics, quinolones.
Pregnancy
Caution advised, risk cannot be ruled out.

Side Effects
Angioedema, blood disorders, dizziness, drowsiness, GI bleeding and ulceration, GI disturbances, hypersensitivity reactions, rashes, fatigue, nausea, dyspepsia, heartburn. Rare: Hepatic damage, interstitial fibrosis associated with NSAIDs, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis.
