Composition
: Naphcon A Drop: Naphazoline HCI 0.025%, pheniramine maleate 0.3%, benzalkonium chloride 0.01%; soln. Naphcon Forte Drop: Naphazoline HCI 0.01%;
Indications & Dosage
Allergic conjunctivitis and other inflammatory conditions: Adults & Children above 2 yrs:1 or 2 drops 3-4 hourly.
Contraindications
Narrow angle glaucoma, soft contact lenses.
Precautions
Coronary disease, diabetes,hypertension, hyperthyroidism
Interactions
MAOls.
Side Effects
Headache, transient stinging, , insomnia, drowsiness, tachycardia, rebound congestion.
