Composition
Nasal Spray: Olopatadine HCl 665 mcg equiv to Olopatadine USP, metered pump nasal spray.
Indications & Dosage
Perennial, Seasonal allergic rhinitis: Adults: Adults & Children 12 yrs: Two sprays per nostril twice daily. Children 6 to 11 yrs: One spray per nostril twice daily.
Precautions
Avoid in nasal disease other than allergic rhinitis. Discontinue if patients develop nasal ulcerations. Concurrent use with alcohol or other central nervous system depressants should be avoided, caution in conditions of stress, trauma, surgery, infection, pregnancy and lactation. Monitor patients for signs of adrenal insufficiency, monitor growth in adolescents in prolong therapy
Side Effects
Epistaxis, nasal ulceration, nasal septal perforation, somnolence Rare: Bronchospasm, anaphylaxis
