Indications & Dosage
Bladder instillation for the treatment of primary or recurrent bladder carcinoma and for the prevention of recurrence following transurethral resection: BY INTRAVESICAL INSTILLATION: Adult: (consult product literature)
Contraindications
Fever of unknown origin, HIV infection, impaired immune response, severe haematuria, tuberculosis, urinary-tract infection
Precautions
In case of bladder injury or traumatic catheterisation or urethral injury; delay administration until such mucosal damages healed. Should not be administered IV or SC or IM before the first intravesical instillation. Perform adequate screening for active tuberculosis and/or HIV prior to therapy.

Side Effects
Cystitis, dysuria, fever, haematuria, influenza-like syndrome, malaise, ocular symptoms, systemic BCG infection (with fatalities); consult product literature, urinary frequency. Rare: Arthralgia, bladder contracture, hypersensitivity reactions, orchitis, rash, renal abscess, transient urethral obstruction
