Indications & Dosage
Prophylaxis & treatment of calcium and phosphorus deficiency in osteoporosis, rickets and osteomalacia, latent tetany, pregnancy & lactation: Susp: Adults: 1 to 2 tbsp daily before meals. Children: 1 to 2 tsp daily before meals. Tab: Adult: 1-2 tab daily.
Contraindications
Hypercalcaemia, hypercalciuria.
Precautions
History of renal stones, renal impairment, severe immobilisation
Side Effects
Diarrhoea, nausea, flushes.
