Indications & Dosage
Active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, Haemophilus influenzae type B: BY DEEP SC OR IM INJ: Children2 months to 4 yrs: 3 separate injections at interval of minimum of 4 weeks; not recommended above 4 years age.
Contraindications
Acute severe febrile illness, previous encephalopathy after pertussis vaccine
Precautions
Family history of convulsions, SIDS, bleeding disorders, previous reaction to DTP vaccine, immunosuppression/deficiency
Side Effects
Loss of appetite, redness, swelling, restlessness,local pain, collapse, convulsions
