Indications & Dosage
Prophylaxis of poliomyelitis: BY SC OR IM INJ: It is recommended to inject vaccine as soon as 2 month old. Primary immunization: 3 injection of 0.5 ml one month apart. Booster: One yr after the last injection andthen every 10 yr.
Contraindications
Acute febrile disease, allergy to streptomycin.
Side Effects
Erythematous reaction at the injection site, moderate fever.
