Composition
Inj: Per Single dose vial: Haemophilus influenza type B conjugate vaccine.
Indications & Dosage
Active immunization against Haemophilus influenza type B: BY SC OR IM INJ: Children: Primary Vaccination: 2-6 months age, 3 injection 1-2 month apart; 6-12 monthsage, 2 injections 1-2 month apart; 1-5 yr: 1 injection. Booster: 12 months after last injection (2nd or 3rd); above 1 yr age, not required.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to poultry proteins (eggs, feathers), acute febrile illness.
Side Effects
Local reactions; fever, malaise, rarely neurological disturbances.
