Composition
Tab 10/80 mg: Rosuvastatin 10 mg and Valsartan 80 mg Tab 10/160 mg: Rosuvastatin 10 mg and Valsartan 160 mg Tab 20/80 mg: Rosuvastatin 20 mg and Valsartan 80 mg Tab 20/160 mg: Rosuvastatin 20 mg and Valsartan 160 mg
Indications & Dosage
Hypertension with high risk of cardiovascular event, Hypertension with Primary hypercholesterolaemia (type lIA) heterozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia or mixed dyslipidaemia (type lIB) homozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia: Adult: 1 tab once daily. Children: Not recommended.
Contraindications
Active liver disease, severe hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment.
Precautions
Mild to moderate renal impairment (dosage adjustment), chronic liver disease, elderly, hypothyroidism. Assess LDL-C when clinically appropriate 2 weeks after initiating therapy and adjusting dosage if necessary, history of angioedema.
Interactions
Atazanavir, ritonavir, saquinavir, clarithromycin, colchicine, cyclosporine, darolutamide, eltrombopag, fenofibrate, mifepristone, nelfinavir, niacin, Gemifibrzil (avoid).

Side Effects
Arthralgia, headache, dizziness, myalgia, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhoea.
