Composition
Syp: Per 5 ml: Dextromethorphen HCI 10 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg, ephedrine HCI 5 mg, phenylephrine HCI 5 mg, ammonium chloride 40 mg, ipecac fluid extract 0.005 ml, alcohol 2%. C Syp
Indications & Dosage
Cough of various aetiology: Adults: 1 tsp syrup 4 times daily. Children2-6 yrs: 1/4 tsp syrup 4 times daily; above 6 yrs: 1/2 tsp syrup 4 times daily. Adults: 2 tsp 4 times daily. Children 18 months - 6 yrs: 1/2 tsp every 6 hr; 6-12 yrs: 1 tsp every 6 hr.
