Composition
Powd: Per sachet: Dioctahedral smectite 3 gm.
Indications & Dosage
Diarrhoea, GI diseases, oesophageal motility disorder: Adults: 3 sachets daily in 2-3 divided doses, mixed in a glass of water. Initial dose may be doubled in acute diarrhoea. Children below 1 yr: 1 sachet daily; 1-2 yr:1-2 sachets daily; above 2 yr:2to 3 sachets daily in 2-3 divided dose, mixed with 50 ml of water or broth or baby food.
Side Effects
Aggravation of constipation.
