Composition
Inj: Protein-free haemodialysate (extracturesan guinisvitulideproteinization special).
Indications & Dosage
Peripheral vascular disorders, varicose vein, cerebro-vascular disorders including strokes, transient ischaemic attacks, sequela of head Injury: See literature for specific dosage
Administration
IV Administer undiluted using a fine-gauge (26 or 30 gauge) needle, insert needle tangentially into af-fected vein and inject solution slowly. Apply only gentle pressure during inj to prevent vein rupture. If repeated treatments are needed, separate by 1- 2 weeks. Following inj, apply compression via stocking or bandage to reduce risk of deep vein thrombosis.
Contraindications
Cardiac disorder, hypertension, elderly, pregnancy
Precautions
History of allergy, risk of anaphylaxis (monitoring required), renal and hepatic impairment.
Side Effects
Pulmonary embolism, paraesthesia, dizziness, anaphylactic shock, syncope, cardiac arrest, dyspnea, vaso-vagal attack, asthma, deep vein thrombosis
