Composition
Eye Drop: Per ml: Dexamethasone sodium phos-phate 1 mg, chloramphenicol 5 mg, tetrahydrozoline 0.25 mg.
Indications & Dosage
Inflammation of anterior uvea, scleritis, episcleritis, myositis and sympathetic ophthalmia, Post-operative treatment after eye surgery, Conjunctivitis and keratitis of allergic and infectious origin: Adults: 1 drop 1-4 times daily, in acute cases the drop may be used after every one hr.
Contraindications
Injuries and ulcerative conditions of the cornea, herpes simplex, vaccinia, TB infections, mycosis, glaucoma.
Precautions
Chronic use posterior subcapsular cataract, thinning of cornea, secondary infection, overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms, children.
Side Effects
: Reversible rise in intraocular pressure after prolonged application.
