Composition
Inf25 mg: Per ml: Bevacizumab 25 mg; in 4 ml(100 mg), 16 ml(400 mg).
Indications & Dosage
Treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer, First-line treatment of metastatic breast cancer in combination with other chemotherapy, Advanced or metastatic renal cellcarcinoma, First-line treatment of unresectable advanced, metastatic or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer, First- line treatment of advanced (FIGO stages IIIB, IIIC and IV) epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer, Metastatic Colon/Rectum Carcinoma: BY IV INF: Adults: 5 mg/kg IV INF over 90 min once every 14 day until disease progression is detected. If 1st INF is well tolerated, administer 2nd INF over 60 min. If 2nd INF is well tolerated, administer subsequent doses over 30 min.
Administration
Do not administer as an IVpush or bolus, use only as an IV infusion.

Stability
Bevacizumab solutions for infusion may be stored at 2C-8C (36F-46F) for upto 8 hours.
Contraindications
Elective surgery, nephrotic Syndrome, tracheo-oesophageal or grade 4 fistula, hypersensitivity to drug
Precautions
History of arterial thromboembolism, history of cardiovascular disease (increased risk of cardiovascular events, especially in the elderly), history of hypertension, withhold treatment and avoid for at least 28 days after major surgery or until wound fully healed, increased risk of fistulas (discontinue if develops),increased risk of haemorrhage, increased risk of tumour-associated haemorrhage, intra-abdominal inflammation (risk of GI perforation and gall bladder perforation), uncontrolled hypertension, untreated CNS metastases. Monitor for necrotising fasciitis. Monitor blood pressure.Monitor for congestive heart failure.Monitor for posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (presenting as seizures, headache, altered mental status, visual disturbance or cortical blindness, with or without hypertension). Consider dental check-up before initiating treatment (riskof osteonecrosis of the jaw).

Contraindicated. Discontinue breast-feeding.
