Composition

Eye Drop: Loteprednol etabonate 0.5%.

Indications & Dosage

Post-operative inflammation of eye: Adults: 1-2 drops four times daily starting 24 hr after surgery; max treatment duration 2 weeks.

Contraindications

Viral, mycobacterial, fungal, amoebic or purulent infections of cornea and conjunctiva, undiagnosed reddening of eye, hypersensitivity to other corticosteroids.

Precautions

Prolonged use, glaucoma; monitor intra ocular pressure when used for 10 days or longer, soft contact lenses, wait minimum 15 min before inserting.

Interactions

Ocular hypotensive agents, cycloplegics.
