Composition
Inj 1.5mg: per ml: Dulaglutide 1.5mg single-dose pen
Indications & Dosage
Type 2 diabetes mellitus as monotherapy if metformin inappropriate: BY SC INJ: Adult: 0.75 mg once weekly, dose can be increased to 1.5 mg once weekly for additional glycemic control Type 2 diabetes mellitus in combination with insulin or other antidiabetic drugs (if existing treatment fails to achieve adequate glycaemic control): BY SC INJ: Adult: 1.5 mg once weekly
Contraindications
Severe gastro-intestinal disease, personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or in patients with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2, prior serious, patients with active pancreatitis, hypersensitivity reaction to drug.
Precautions
Congestive heart failure, Thyroid C-cell tumors, pancreatitis (discontinue if confirmed), risk of hypoglycemia, acute Kidney Injury; monitor renal function in patients with renal impairment, risk of macrovascular outcomes

Lactation
Not recommended.
Side Effects
Abdominal distention and pain, diarrhoea, constipation, atrioventricular block, decreased appetite, dyspepsia, fatigue, flatulence, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, nausea, sinus tachycardia, vomiting. Rare: Acute pancreatitis (discontinue treatment)
