Tab 667 mg: Calcium Acetate 667 mg
Indications & Dosage
Hyperphosphataemia: Adult: Initially 1 tablet 3 times a day, to be taken with meals, dose to be adjusted according to serum-phosphate concentration, usual dose 4-6 tablets daily in divided doses, (1 or 2 tablets with each meal); max. 12 tablets per day.
Contraindications
Hypophosphataemia, hypercalcaemia, renal calculi
Side Effects
Mild hypercalcaemia, constipation, nausea, anorexia, vomiting, pruritus, allergic reaction. Rare: Severe hypercalcaemia, confusion, delirium stupor and coma
