Tab 10 mg/20 mg: Vonoprazan 10 mg/20 mg
Indications & Dosage
Treatment of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer: Adult: 20 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcer and up to 6 weeks for duodenal ulcer. Treatment of reflux esophagitis: Adult: 20 mg once daily for up to 4 weeks, may be extended for up to 8 weeks if the efficacy is inadequate. Maintenance dose: 10 mg or 20 mg once daily. Prevention of recurrent gastric or duodenal ulcer associated with low-dose aspirin: Adult: 10 mg once daily. Prevention of recurrent gastric or duodenal ulcer associated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug: Adult: 10 mg once daily. Adjunct therapy to Helicobacter pylori eradication: Adult: 20 mg of vonoprazan, as an adjunct to 750 mg of amoxicillin hydrate, and 200 mg of clarithromycin at the same time twice daily for 7 days, the dose of clarithromycin may be increased up to 400 mg twice daily. As alternative treatment: 20 mg of vonoprazan, 750 mg of amoxicillin hydrate, and 250 mg of metronidazole.

Severe hepatic impairment
Precautions
Mild to moderate hepatic impairment, elevation of intragastric pH, renal Impairment, metabolic disorder, elderly.
Interactions
Drugs depend on gastric pH for absorption (atazanavir, rilpivirine, nelfinavir), Itraconazole, digoxin, tyrosine kinase inhibitors

Side Effects
Constipation, diarrhea, enlarged feeling of abdomen, nausea, rash and edema.
