Composition
Susp: Per 5 ml: Mebendazole 100 mg. Tab 100 mg/500 mg: Mebendazole 100 mg/500 mg.
Indications & Dosage
Threadworm infections: Adult& Children above 6 months: 100 mg for 1 dose, if reinfection occurs, second dose may be needed after 2 weeks. Whipworm infections, Hookworm infections: Adult & Children above 1 year: 100 mg twice daily for 3 days. Roundworm infections Adult & Children above 1 year: 100 mg twice daily for 3 days, alternatively500 mg for 1 dose (not for children below 2 yrs).

Side Effects
Abdominal pain, diarrhoea, flatulence, rash. Rare: Alopecia, convulsions, dizziness, hepatitis, neutropenia, Stevens- Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, urticaria
