Composition
Inhaler: Per actuation: Salbutamol 100 mcg, beclomethasone dipropionate 50 mcg; metered-dose aerosol.
Indications & Dosage
Long term management of asthma: Adults: 2 puffs three or four times daily. Children: 1 or 2 puffs two to four times daily.
Precautions
Myocardial insufficiency, angina, hyperthyroidism, cardiac arrhythmias, hypertension, pregnancy and lactation, active or quiescent pulmonary tuberculosis, transferring from systemic steroids
Interactions
Sympathomimetics.
Side Effects
Headache, feeling of tension, palpitations, tremor, peripheral vasodilatation, anxiety, depression, dryness,epistaxis, hyperactivity, hypersensitivity reactions,nasal irritation nasal ulceration, sleep disturbances, smell disturbances,taste disturbances, throat irritation. Rare: Paradoxical bronchospasm
