Tab 0.5 mg/1 mg: Rasagiline 0.5 mg/1 mg.
Indications & Dosage
Parkinsons disease, used alone or as adjunct to cobeneldopaor co-careldopa for 'end-of-dose' fluctuations: Adult: 1 mg daily if used as monotherapy, 0.5 mg if used as adjunct; increased to 1 mg if needed.
Precautions
Mild to moderate hepatic impairment, avoid abrupt withdrawal. Avoid in severe hepatic impairment
Interactions
Other MAOls, St. Johns Wort, pethidine, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, dextromethorphan, sympathomimetic amines, antidepressants.

Side Effects
Anorexia, arthralgia, abnormal dreams, angina, conjunctivitis, constipation, depression, dry mouth, dyspepsia, flatulence, hallucinations, headache, influenza-like symptoms, leucopenia, rash, rhinitis, skin carcinoma, urinary urgency, vertigo, weight loss. Rare: Cerebrovascular accident, myocardial infarction
