Composition
Eye Drop: Brinzolamide 1% and Timolol (as maleate) 0.5%
Indications & Dosage
Raised intra-ocular pressure in open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension when beta-blocker alone not adequate: Adult: Apply twice daily.
Contraindications
Narrow angle glaucoma, history of bronchial asthma, severe COPD, sinus bradycardia, sick sinus syndrome, 2nd or 3rd degree AV block, sinoatrial block, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, severe allergic rhinitis, hyperchloraemic acidosis, severe renal impairment, hypersensitivity to sulfonamides.
Precautions
History of severe cardiac disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, Prinzmetal angina, 1st degree heart block, myasthenic conditions, severe circulatory disorders, hypotension, pseudoexfoliative or pigmentary glaucoma, mild to moderate COPD. Remove soft contact lenses before using this medicine; wait 15 min afterwards for reinserting. Severe hepatic impairment.
Interactions
Calcium-channel blockers, beta-blockers, antiarrhythmics, cardiac glycosides, parasympathomimetics, CYP344 and 2D6 inhibitors, hypoglycaemics, guanethidine, oral carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, clonidine, adrenaline.

Blurred vision, ocular pain or irritation, allergic reactions, dysgeusia. Choroidal detachment
