Composition

Caplet: Paracetamol 500 mg, pamabrom 25 mg.

Indications & Dosage

Relief in pain and discomfort of premenstrual and menstrual cramps, headache, backache: Adults: 2 tab every 4 to 6 hr; max 8 tab in 24 hr. Children: Not recommended.

Precautions

Caution in patients with history of liver disease, renal impairment, cardiac impairment, CNS disorder, may cause drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Stop immediately if redness or swelling is present, pain gets worse or lasts for more than 10 days.

Interactions

Atropine, cholestyramine, isoniazid, warfarin, zi-dovudine, bronchodilator, oral diabetes medications, probenecid, medicine to treat stomach ulcers, incontinence, or irritable bowel syndrome.

Pregnancy

Avoid unless the potential benefit outweighs the risk.

Side Effects

Dry skin, headache, thirst; pounding or uneven heartbeat, urinating less than usual or not at all, easy bruising or bleeding, weakness, fever, chills, body aches, flu-like symptoms, nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay coloured stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).
